The Level 6 certificates in Occupational Health and Safety are designed to give learners the skills they need to manage health and safety policy and practice in an organization, whether they already hold a senior position or are aspiring to one. The abilities and information acquired by learners will enable them to evaluate policies, suggest policy changes, and comprehend the legal and regulatory context of occupational health and safety policy. Students will gain knowledge and abilities related to applying policy, using management tools, resources, managing risks and incidents, and developing leadership, management, and skill sets.
Individuals successfully completing the diploma qualification will be eligible to apply for the Graduate level of membership Grad IOSH and further route to Charted IOSH.
Duration and delivery
The qualification is designed to be delivered over 4 months approximately for full-time study and case studies, but it is also flexible in its delivery in order to accommodate part-time and distance and blended learning.
