The most widely used standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OH&SM) is ISO 45001. ISO 45001 Course is specifically made to enhance workplace safety and provide a better working environment for the firm. The lead auditor offers security to shield workers from illnesses and other health-related issues.
This course teaches you how to take the lead on auditing an operational health and safety (OH&S) management system. You’ll gain the skills to plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit in line with ISO 45001. At the end of the course, you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and skills through continual course assessment and a post-course online exam.
Through a mix of practical experience and activity-based learning, you’ll build on this knowledge to learn all the skills needed to lead an audit in your organization. Whether you take the course live and online or in person in a classroom, you’ll benefit from expert tuition and some homework across a week.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
• Understand the role of and OHS Auditor and understand the ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
• Recognize the rationale behind preserving occupational health and safety through hazard identification, risk assessment, and control, as well as legal compliance with OH&S management system regulations.
• Plan and carry out OH&S audits in accordance with the requirements of ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 for auditing management systems against ISO 45001.
• Recognize the importance, purpose of occupational health and safety and how to apply the OH&S Management System principles to achieve desired results.
